Daphne was born in England, so perhaps that partially explains her obsession with rain, storms, and grey, dreary weather. Not to mention her conviction that a cup of tea soothes most anything.
If she’s not writing or reading, Daphne might be snuggling with her corgi or playing on aerial silks.
